Yellow Throated Warbler (Setophaga dominica)

"There's a lot of us out here that are birds, man. We all need to just fly." - Travis Scott
Hiding in the shade in the tree, this was my first really close look at what I'd call a rather elusive warbler. Many warblers tend to prefer staying very high in the tree canopy, making viewing them pretty difficult without hearing bird songs. Fortunately for me, this image was taken right in the middle of peak migration, and from a higher elevation that put me at eye level with this tall sycamore.
Yellow Throated's can be typically seen high up sycamore trees, and this one was bouncing around making it hard to photograph. Even at the treetop view, it was still above me by a slight margin, giving me the dreaded "warbler neck." I was forced to mount the telephoto lens to the tripod to reduce camera shake from arm fatique as well. Overall, a decent photo as a reminder to another bird scratched off my life list.
