Warblers

Warblers are a special type of birds that don't exactly belong with songbirds. In terms of Ohio, they return every Spring from the warmer south and use the Buckeye State as a stopping point to refuel before heading even more up north. The majority of birds in this class have brightly colored plumages with bold and striking yellow.

Englewood Metropark, Englewood, Ohio "Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail” - Ralph Waldo Emerson Deep in the grasses awaits a warbler that skulks about. The bandit facial design fits this stealthy bird as it belts out "witchity-witchity-witchity" and makes an entrance to the open air. Though still in the shade of trees, my telephoto lens and eyes are dialed in to this fast moving subject as it flits about from tree to tree.
