"The difference between a good and a great image is the quality of light." - Jeff Zuckerman
One could argue this is a bunch of blurred pixels, but to write it off so quickly is not true. This is more so an altered landscape of what we typically would see. I photographed something real and transformed it into something unreal. When done tastefully, the image should contain hints of what was, such as the trees in the middle foreground. Something about this abstract or rather "extract" that I like over others I've done is the upwelling of blue sky from the bottom of the frame instead of the top.
Seeing these photos digitally is one thing, but from my experience printing them out is the best way to show them. A nice sheet of lustre photo paper really adds texture and dimension to the colors and blurs to bring them to life. A nicely sized 11x14 print in a frame, hung from the wall is my idea of perfectly displaying the art. Sometimes the ideas find you, but the presentation of the image after the capture is paramount to the way it should be shown to others.
