John Bryan Waterfall
John Bryan State Park, Yellow Springs, Ohio
"I love the sounds and the power of pounding water, whether it is the waves or a waterfall." - Mike May
This is where the waterfalls have no name. I have searched tooth and comb in internet articles and in books for its name. Sometimes a beautiful flow like this is too good to be named? At the peak is actually a small bridge crossing which offers a unique birds eye view of the landscape.
I really worked to make this image happen, as the falls was far off from the main trail. I faintly heard the rushing of water to the left of me and so I found a spur where the foliage was growing back. It was dense and hard to find the way towards it through the leaves growing over and around the footpath. However, I trusted myself to follow the sound.
