The Little Beaver Creek
Creekside Reserve, Beavercreek, Ohio
"Who looks upon a river in a meditative hour and is not reminded of the flux of all things?" - Ralph Waldo Emerson
One of my personal favorite water features. This creek was where I experimented with my earliest long exposure images, many of them I still hold in my portfolio.
For this summer afternoon return, I sought to go a big further. I stuck on a pair of wading boots and followed upstream. The result was more "intimate" views I could never see from the trailside. Being able to compose the water from straight in the middle made for more effective imagery, and I created a bevy of new images at this familiar place.
