Great Miami River Autumnal Scene
Taylorsville Metropark, Vandalia, Ohio
“We must begin thinking like a river if we are to leave a legacy of beauty and life for future generations.” - David Brower
This for me is a "busier" image. A lot of patterns and objects fill the frame which can mean there's quite a lot to look at. Some photos deserve a proper second look or three to take in all the details. What makes this image for me is the purposeful motion blur at the top of the frame. In essence this is a long exposure without seeming like one.
Almost unintentionally, the orange and red leaves appear in the foreground leaving the rest to be yellow and green. The single rock in the middle ground is the central focus point amongst all the other chaos of moving leaves flowing down the river.
